21-11-2014 Updates

Wow, so long since I step my foot in here.
Sorry to my beloved blog for leaving you empty.
Okay, I got 15 minutes today.
So let's sum up what's happening today.

Early in the morning, around 6am, I became a big potato again.
Haha. As usual, I fell down again...to kick start my day.
Thanks God not much injuries.
Felt a bit twist while in the van but  I still can walk and run today. ^^

Then, I was in the van, as usual, I was sleeping.
When I awake at 7:49am, I can't believe myself. I am still in Kidurong road!
I close back my eyes thought I was dreaming,
Open and look again. Hey, it's real!
Okay, I took a deep breathe, listening to everyone who was chit-chatting in the van discussing.
Then, we past the accident scene, it's really tragedy.
After that, van stopped by Shell petrol station and full-speed ahead to office.
Thankful for God granting my lil prayer for safe journey.

And once my phone senses signal before arriving, a lady from sponsor called and she need email reply immediately. I'm having training today so will be out of office so, in the end, I rushed to my friend's desk to borrow her LAN cable a while. Really appreciated the help.
And I called back a while after emailed then I can count as settled, so can focus on training.

Thankful too for having chance to join for training.
The trainer was nice. I got a minibar of Cadbury from him. My favorite: simple and plain. =)
And I just realize my senior was working in another department in same company. hahaha, Sorry, I'm kind of introvert sometimes to socialize. So, not much people I knew although being so long here.
I was rushing to toilet before lunch time. I think the teabreak wasn't approved by my sensitive tummy. Hehe. Thanks God that its just one time or else I'll be very shy for keep running out of the room.

Anyway, I'm thankful too for friend who borrowed me safety helmet as I can't found transport to get my helmet. It's blue, I'm a visitor today. =P Finished our on-site assignment within allocated time.
But, lastly around 5pm got a nice guy who fetched me to office to get my helmet.
Tomorrow, I'll use mine! ^^

Lastly, thanks God for giving me courage to facilitate young adult meeting tonight.
I enjoyed the moment spent together with you all, singing and sharing.
We had lots of laughter during the discussion although I had some shutter-shutter (nervous) here and there. Hehe.

That's how my Friday was.
Saturday is coming.
Hopefully, I can answer the exam tomorrow!

9-10-14 updates

Harlo...

Sorry for leaving my blog absence since after my birthday.

Was quite busy recently.

Today was letting myself to have 15 minutes to share.

September was nice.

Busy with pot start-up that I learned a lot.

And then followed by a camp that I joined last few days.

It was VAT 69.

Somehow, it was great fun but with I did many things that I never did before.

1. to sit on wet ground/mud
2. to do pumping like countless @_@ (I think usually I training do few times then I'm tired already but this really challenge my limit, trainer was like blow blow blow whistle and we gonna up down up down continuously)
3. walk in drain (this one was I really dislike, so smelly. the mud was as thick til my knee, my leg was stuck in the mud several times and I pulled til my leg nearly cramp)
4. walk barefoot (before this without slipper, I don't even want to put my feet out of my house)
5. slept on bamboo self-made house on top of the sea.
6. ate fried baby crabs that are freshly caught
7. plucked midin and paku for the first time
8. so near to fire cracker explosion, in less than 1m beside me. so dangerous. I was like a few seconds deaf. (if there is next time, I'll sure bring long long firecracker and fire it beside the trainer. Let's see how is your ear taste! =P)
9. etc etc

Physically, this camp wasn't as hard as survival camp I joined before but mentally, its really challenging me as hygiene for me is a must. To really accept the dirty situation is not easy.
But overall, camp was fun especially with my teammates. They are very sporting and humorous.
And above all, thanks God for His continual guidance upon me throughout the camp and the blessings.

Today was thankful too. Although I got 3 cuts on my feet during the camp and a bruised right feet, thanks God I still can walk, just that I can't run.
And His grace is really sufficient.
Today was using bus to work in the morning but coming back was using van. I am so happy that no need to walk so far back home.

Ohya, not to forget, I had a short gathering with my best sisters, Siew Ya and See Lin.
Great to have time going out and chat and drink tea with them.
But, we haven't made it for karaoke this time as I am out station. Maybe soon. Haha.

And, I had finished booked flights and accommodation plus settling all the procedures for convocation, just left car rental part and enjoy part. hehe.
1 week to go. I must finished up the work so that I can enjoy to the max during the trip.
Praying for journey mercy too. =)

Okay, gotta stop here.

Want to cook my favorite herb (patin) soup for tomorrow with herbs from Sarikei bought by my bro. ^^

A blessed day

First of all, thanks God for I was born.

A great reminder to always be content with everything I had.

Although I'm still searching what God wants me to do here, 

I always hope I can do everything to glorify Him and be a blessing to others.

Secondly, thanks to my mommy who gave birth to me on this day, 23 years ago.

Thanks for my papa for bringing me up and sponsoring the yummy-licious dinner tonight.

I know that although he wasn't by my side today, I am always in his mind. =)

Thanks to my aunt who specially ordered my birthday cake which came from 600km away, filled with blessings.

Thanks for the parcel of gifts that was posted.

I am so surprised when I saw them after back from work on Saturday.

Thanks to my lovely sister for handmade card and reminder after I woke up from fell asleep on the sofa.

Thanks to my cousin and aunt for the video clips and blessings in whatsapp.

I miss my cousin's cute voice.

 Thanks to my special shopping date and my brother and sister accompany too.

 Especially the funny time here. hahaha. my cheerful sister learning pool.

It's Friday again.

A week has passed.

Its a good time to re-evaluate myself.

Somehow, I'm still the old me: blur.

Mistakes here and there.

Hmmm.

Something that I really need to improve.
Don't be so careless anymore.

Last Sunday was just back from Miri.

See, we got lots and lots of durians. Hahaha.

I opened most of them.

This is taken when on the way go to Miri and editted with Carema360 software. 

 Nice that can see large area when we are at the peak of bridge.

But, how far can we really see?

Only God can see the whole creation.

So, lift up your worries to Him.

He will provide you.

Besides, this week I remembered of these verses.

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: 
Everyone should be quick to listen, 
slow to speak and slow to become angry, 
because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 
Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

Especially during the 40 days fast and pray.

Last few years managed to challenged myself not to gossip.

There's good and bad.

Sometimes people feel that I am arrogant and don't like to speak.

But, good part is less talk, less wrong. =)

Hopefully, with God's help, I can reach my aim this year.

Hey, how's life there?

Mine was a bit tiring 

but,

meaningful. ^^

Started working, less time at home, but I hope I can be a blessing to others at anywhere I am.
Trying my best. Hehe.

I'm also still adjusting my time here and there.

Especially weekends.

Yesterday was spent at swimming and today for badminton.
And my weekend is gone just like that...

But, I enjoyed it. =)
And I got to eat pian nv today and ZenQ as dessert. ^^

Last Friday while I was vacuuming here and there. Cleaning.

I realized house was so messy. >_<

Need to have a proper schedule for housekeeping.

Wonder how my mom did it last time. Hmmm.

Kinda miss her...

Ohya, my brother coming back soon. 

I mean tomorrow. Haha

I'm so excited again. Excited to the max.

Want to go exercise together.

And eat nice food together.

Hopefully, no traffic jam tomorrow. hehe.

It's almost a month since I last set my feet here.

Haha. Too busy recently.

Today was so happy.

Finally got to eat KFC after few weeks requesting my dad to bring us to KFC.

And tonight got fellowship for the first time since I'm back in Bintulu.

I'm so excited for it. 

Hopefully I can make it. ^^

Happy Mother's Day

Today was a happy day as I scrolled facebook, 

all over it was photos and posts wishing their mom a happy mother's day.

Everywhere I saw gratitude and thankfulness.

Thanks that mom was the person who gave birth to us in this world,

she is the one who

carries you everywhere when you're still baby

so happy when you learn to crawl or hold your milk bottle

supporting you when you started to walk

teach you how to speak

holding your hand when you started writing

take care of you when you're sick

cook your favorite meals

plan for your diet

enroll classes for you

waiting for your grades after school reopens

discipline you

and

always worried about you.

So,

I wish that all of you(mothers) will be strengthened by God, lead and kept.

May His comforting hand be with you in troubles and joy overflowing in your life.

A very happy and blessed to all mothers in the world.

A busy week. 4-5-14 Updates

A week is gone again.

Phew.

A hectic one.

Was in KL from Monday night til Wednesday.

Short but adventurous trip.

Great thanks to be able to have some catch up and thanks for spending time.

Besides, its quite a long time I didn't use MAS.

I just realized only first row sitting of MAS airplane has a screen.

And this reminds me of trip to Taiwan back in 2012.

The whole 5 hour journey was spending watching movie on the small screen plus watching live pilot view.

Haha. Miss those moment, especially touchdown time. It's trilling. =)

Then, the next day when I was back is our annual event: 

Church's beach cleaning on Labour Day.

6.30 am we were there at the beach.

It was raining lil bit that morning.

But, still thanks God for the good weather that the activity can held smoothly.

A lot of rubbish. X_x

I wish Bintulu-ians can be more civic minded.

Hey, this is the place we gonna live in eh.

Tell me do you throw rubbish on your bed and sleep with it?!

Anyway, Magnum Gold is yummy!

Super sweet than the former ones.

Full with caramel I guess.

Hehe.

Easter Sunday 2014

Yesterday was Easter Sunday again.

A day that was so cheerful.

Because He lives, that I can face tomorrow.

And because He lives, all fear is gone: He holds the future!

Hallelujah.

Besides, I got a cute lil Easter egg after church service.

 with a bookmark written,

Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

1 Peter 5:7

Then, my family and I head for laksa.

We went there like 3 consecutive weeks already.

But, it was always sold out until yesterday.

Thanks God, we managed to be their last customers before they closed at 11am.

Haha.

In the evening, we rushed to a brother's house to gather before we depart to Longhouse.

It was a more than 30 minutes journey drive before we arrive.

Thanks Pastor for the ride.

And the roads are without lamp, but thanks God for the safe journey.

It was quite a modern longhouse with 45 houses altogether and electricity was supplied by their own generator at their backyard.

It was a great and special moment to celebrate Easter differently this year.

Because its the first time to have Easter service in the longhouse and sang songs using Iban language.

Although I can understand a lil bit of Iban language as I always follow my grandpa when I was a kid,

it's still hard to understand the sermon.

 But,

I am very happy

cause

I can celebrate Easter with my Iban brothers and sisters in Christ.

=)

And may God continue to lead and bless them.

Hope they will get electricity supply soon. =)

Oh, and I was trying so hard not to wear black on Easter. >_<

Opening my closet, looking here, black; flipping there, black clothes some more. Lol.

Too bad I'm a fan of black color so almost most of my clothes I like are black, instead of white.

Haha. So, I realised I only got 2 white blouse. @_@

But, wearing white on Easter means a lot for me.

Cause I'm thankful for Jesus to die for our sins, all of our sins.

That, today I can pray and talk directly to God.

It is such a blessing.

And an eternal life too.

by the way, please continue to keep korea sinking ferry & MH370 in prayer for the search.

14-4-2014 updates...

Wow. A month already since I last blogged. hehe.

was a bit busy without realizing time passing so fast.

In the past few days, I am still the same.

Enjoying here and there.

Especially food. haha.

Can't being separated with 'em. XD

Can't deny too that 'Home is the best place'. ^^

and my dad bought fish maw again today.

So, later going to cook fish maw soup.

爸还说下礼拜买材料煮苦瓜汤。^^

哈哈。

在家真好。

这是跟爸去买鱼时拍的。

End of March, our church was so blessed to have a choir teacher from Singapore to come and teach us.
It was my first time to attend vocal training class where one by one sing.
Frankly, I'm a bit scared of her. hehe.
She taught us a lot especially on vocal training class.
How to breathe correctly, how to expand our capacity, how to hit high notes, how to open voice etc.
And I learned a lil bit on shimmer although I haven't mastered yet.
Haha.
So, every afternoon will be vocal training class at church and night will be combine choir practice, polishing the songs.
A week passed super fast.
Now, when I look at the songs, I can still remember her expression conducting and scolding too. =P

April. 

Its almost the end of spring.

Flowers are blooming.

I'm glad that this April fool day I didn't being 'fool-ed'.

anyway, I think its because I lost my phone. 

So, no one can reach me through phone. haha.

Thanks God.

But, someone successfully prank me on 2nd of April!! >_<

Last last Saturday was All Soul's Day.

But, mostly people called tomb sweeping day for Chinese.

Met a long time friend and I just knew that her father's tomb was beside my grandpa's.

Yet, I think she forgot bout me already. hehe.

I'm still happy, at least I know that my childhood friend is still living happily.

It's so sweet to see her smile. ^^

Last few days, I attend a talk.

It's nice and I won a lucky draw.

Thanks God for the blessing.

It cheered up my day. hehe.

Not to forget, this month total up I jog for 9.8 km already.

A good start. Don't be lazy.

Want to break my dad's all time record. =D

86+ km.

I'm halfway. hehe.

plus always came to playground after jog.

remember me of my childhood time. =)

And, I really need to exercise.

So that I can enjoy more food. haha.

Recently, was chasing lots of dramas.

never being so enjoying.

Last time I remember no matter how much I like to watch drama, still I restrict to have only one drama one semester.

Now, I can watch non-stop. =P

Especially korean drama, it makes people laugh and make people's eyes swollen.

Anyway, hopefully I'm not addicted. hehe.

By the way, Good Friday is coming up and Easter is end of this week.

9-3-14 updates

Another week has passed.

Time really doesn't wait, even a second. haha.

Last week was a normal week.

After came back from Miri, everything was usual.

Except, I'm starting to plan for my sister's study schedule. hahaha.

It's gonna be intense. =P

But, I'm too lazy the whole week, skipped all my exercises, didn't even touch on my to-read-books.

And I keep on eating. haha.

Until today, another 2km run. Nice to feel the sweat. ^^

It's a happy day. Thanks God.

And my dad came back home today from outstation. I'm so happy. =D

I don't use to driving. hehe. Got my beloved driver back lo. yippeeee~ =P

New achievements:

I managed to drive til McD by overcoming the traffic light at the slope prior of McD.

This is all motivated by Oreo McFlurry. haha. long time since I had Ice-cream. ^^

Maybe next time I'll try to drive to Kidurong Club? New target! 

hahaha

And, very unexpectedly, my friends in UTP called me on Saturday night fellowship.

It's such a surprise and you all made my day although I cant recognize who is who when you all passing the phone here and there. haha.
I really missed the fellowship with my brothers and sisters in UTP.

Hopefully, you all are always in the pink of health and may God be with all of you.

Glad to hear from you all, except the "姐". I'm still young. =P

This Sunday reminds me of last week sermon, I'm thinking whether do I bring commercialism-attitude to church... ...hmmmm...

Trying not-to-judge people, although its in my heart only. hehe.

Plus, this week I want to reduce the usage of water.

By reuse the water that is used for immerse/wash vegetables to water the plants.

I missed this lake full with water like a mirror itself.

Last but not least, do pray for the passengers and crews in MH370.

May God have mercy on them as well as with their family members.

A small catch-up and fun. hehe

A meaningful weekend

Last weekend was really a blessing.

Early in the morning, we started our journey, heading Miri.

And that morning was cloudy. 

Thanks God for the good weather. 

I seldom sit in front.

see, the roller coaster road.... XD

 up and down.

And we arrived safely around noon.

Quite tiring.

But, me and sister were so happy cause we grab some of our favorite.

Too bad, its the second time I want to drink coffee jelly drink and its out of stock.

hmmmmmmmm......

Then, its the most exciting moment.

My grandpa's brother's youngest daughter's wedding.

She's so beautiful. ^^

Wish her a happy and blessed marriage.

Loving & sweet sweet forever.

Then, on Sunday, we managed to woke up early to drive all the way to attend the service of the church my brother is attending.

It's a combine service.

The sermon that day was meaningful too.

Makes me think deeply on "burdens".

What does it really means really depend on how you see it.

But, do always delight and appreciate in any service you do.

Because it's an honour to serve the most High. ^^

On our way back, my dad stop by Luak Bay because I wanted to go to the beach. hehe.

It's pretty.

Soft sand and blue sea.

Very different than Bintulu's beach.

After a short stop, we head back home as Monday is a workday and study day for my dad and sister.

I was so sleepy along the journey as its a rushing and short weekend.

But, praise the Lord for the journey mercy.

We are back. =)

Last day of CNY 2014

Days passed so fast.
And I think I'm wasting my time.
It was like...eat and sleep repeatedly. haha.
But, Chinese New Year was good.
Happy Chinese New Year 2014 for the last time!! XD

Adding a lil fun in the baking process. haha.

and I saw lots of cute cute puppies...

 Above all, thanks God. Having Holy Communion on the first day of Chinese New Year means a lot. =)

An old part ended, a new part arise

Harlo.

Long time I didnt write my blog again. Haha.

Was fighting with my last battle of assignments, tests and final exams in my degree life.

Finally, I'm unofficially graduated!
And I'm landed back at home.

Home sweet home...always the nicest place.

I don't like farewell, although I don't have much kinda farewell.
Cherished the gatherings a lot a lot.
And the photoshooting. Photos always keep the memories long lasting. =)

But, I'm very sure we will meet someday again. 

Especially on convocation day, 9-more-months to go.

Now, 5 years of university life has ended, and I, a 22 years old girl facing the reality of this world: jobless.

Still, I'm not yet nervous bout that.

Because I trust that God has a plan. Hehe.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." 

-Jeremiah 29:11-

So, now I'm enjoying my time at home while I still can.

'Goyang kaki' for the next 6 months. hoho.
